In partenza! Leaving!

Ebbene, è giunto il momento! Domani si parte. E a sedici ore dalla partenza, la situazione è una specie di disastro sotto controllo. Sotto controllo perché stiamo tutti mantenendo la calma. Disastro perché ho due bagagli da imbarcare, uno zaino e una borsa. Come cavolo farò a trascinarmi tutto ciò sulle sconnesse strade tunisine, è una buona domanda. Chi vivrà vedrà, intanto Alitalia ha ricevuto con giubilo i miei 44 euro per il bagaglio extra: fa sempre piacere diffondere gioia, in fondo.

The time has come! I'm leaving tomorrow. And sixteen hours before leaving, the situation is some sort of under control disaster. Under control because we are all keeping calm. Disaster because I have two pieces of luggage, a backpack and a bag. How the hell I'll carry all these things on the messy streets of Tunis is a good question. We will see, meanwhile Alitalia has happily received my 44 euros for the extra baggage: spreading joy is always nice, after all.

Però ora vi chiederete: perché la valigia è a testa in giù? Ottima domanda. Dovete sapere che quella valigia (evidentemente poco costosa) ha la tendenza a cappottarsi. Quindi? Quindi mio padre l'ha presa, l'ha ribaltata, ha preso le misure e ora le sta stampando dei piedini nuovi con la stampante 3d (sì, mio padre ha una stampante 3d).

But now you will be wondering: why is that bag upside down? Excellent question. The thing is, that one (clearly not very expensive) tends to tip. So what? So my father has turned it upside down, taken measures and now is printing new "feet" with his 3d printer (yes, my father has a 3d printer).
